The Land Rover Discovery is a vehicle of good quality and luxury. Among the things that are not well achieved, even to the point of becoming annoying (at least in the unit I tested diesel engine of 2.2 liters and 190 horses) are vibrations coming from the engine into when it is idling, and further, the shock transmitted when the Start & Stop acting. In fact, on several occasions, I have chosen to turn off the system. Once the car begins to roll, the picture changes completely, and softness and silence are the dominant note. Another aspect that has not satisfied me are how they are solved some plastic coating as well not withstand careless use
The Land Rover Discovery Diesel Sport 190 hp and automatic transmission is not particularly fast or spend little fuel (according to official data, the new 180 hp engine spends less; comparative tab). That does not make it slow or inefficient, but there rivals that are faster and consume less.
The nine automatic relations meets their duties as selected gears without the driver being aware only, which is an indication that is smooth and fast at the same time.

I'm not sure that the suspension is to the liking of some users. I, for example, seems somewhat dry in certain circumstances (explained in paragraph driving impressions), at least circulating at low load. I have no idea what effect will the suspension of varying hardness, but it makes sense to try it to see if increased comfort in those circumstances where the standard is not always able to deal gently occupants.
